Luminous Moon
From factory order to container, warehouse, dealer, cheque and warranty, in one system the whole company shares.
(The brief)
Luminous Moon imports and distributes car and truck batteries across the UAE. Their business ran across email, spreadsheets, paper cheques and phone calls with dealers, and nobody could see the whole picture at once.
Phase one was a full interactive demo of the system they would get: an internal platform for owners, finance, procurement, sales and the warehouse, plus a phone app for the battery shops that buy from them. It runs offline from a single file and walks the client through a whole business day with two guided tours.
(What we built)
- A command centre with sales, margin, stock, cheques, receivables and containers on the way, each figure linked to its source records.
- Seventeen screens covering forecasting, factory orders, shipments and landed cost, sales, delivery, commissions and warranty claims.
- Roles, so finance sees margins and the warehouse does not, and a full audit trail.
- A dealer app: one-time-code sign in, ordering, scan a battery to activate its warranty, returns to credit note.
- UAE VAT handled per line, money in fils, never in floating point.
- Guided tours of 32 and 25 steps, tested end to end at laptop, tablet and phone sizes.
